The Lori-Pambak Museum was founded in 1938 under the roof of the St. Astsvatsatsin Church in Vanadzor. Later it was moved to other buildings, but in 1988 it was destroyed by an earthquake.

The museum's collection has more than 34,165 specimens, which are presented in the departments of archaeology, ethnography and modern history.

The activity of the museum is very important in spreading and developing the culture of Lori region. The exhibition presents the works of Lorva masters: various types of carpets and rugs, jewelry, weapons, etc. In the museum you can see a. Various things from the 3rd millennium to the present day.

The Lori-Pambak Museum is rich in archaeological and ethnographic exhibits, among which are the wooden compositions of master Galust Chalabyan and the gold works of Mkrtich Ghazaryan.
